Subscription FAQs

What are the benefits to becoming a member (what does it include)?

Members have unlimited access to CCSS-based quality scripted lesson plans in grades K-5th. Among other things, many of our lessons include explicit student engagement protocols, differentiation ideas for English Language Learners, games, and exit tickets for each section. These are not just worksheets.

Our subscriptions are for individual use only. We are grateful that you honor the hard work and dedication of the experienced teachers writing the lessons by not making copies for friends or co-workers, or sharing your license with others. Thank you.

Is there a refund policy (money back guarantee)?

Yes. While we certainly hope you’ll love your subscription, we will issue a refund if you’re unhappy for any reason. If you’d like to request a refund please email hello@daybreaklessonplans.com within 5 days

Will my subscription auto renew?

Your subscription will not automatically renew for another term at the end of the current subscription period. Once your subscription ends, you will get an email asking if you wish to renew. If you decide you want to, you will need to log in to your account and renew your subscription.

Is my subscription active for a calendar year or school year?

Memberships are active for one full calendar year (365 days).

For example, if you become a member on February 23, 2018, your membership would be active through February 23, 2019.

What if I have a problem with my membership?

While we certainly hope you’ll love your subscription, please reach out to us at hello@daybreaklessonplans.com with any questions or concerns that you may have.

How do I cancel my Daybreak membership?

Online cancellation is not an option at this time. To cancel your Daybreak Lesson Plans subscription, please email hello@daybreaklessonplans.com.

Do you have an affiliate or referral program for the Daybreak membership?

If you have an active subscription, your login email address is your referral code! If someone signs up for a new one-year subscription using your email address, your subscription will be extended by 1-month.

So when you tell your friends, colleagues, homeschool support group, students’ parents about the site, be sure to give them your login email address to use at checkout to receive credit for your referral.

How do I print a resource?

Click the “Open” button and your resource will open a printable file or print directly to your printer (depending on your browser settings).

Please honor that your subscription is an individual license. It is a violation of copyright to make multiple copies for your friends and teammates.

How do I determine how much content to download for a full day absence?

We offer segmented half day plans containing 2-4 segments each 30-90 minutes in length. We suggest picking a half day ELA plan and a half day math plan to fill a day of instruction for your substitute. Every school and teacher has a unique daily schedule, so you can decide how to tell your substitute to use the content.

Option A: Following your daily bell schedule have your substitute teach the math half day in the morning, working through one segment at a time until time runs out. Then begin the ELA half day in the afternoon. *Make note for your substitute to stop instruction for specials like gym, art, music etc, lunch, and recess.

Option B: Following your daily bell schedule have your substitute teach 1 ELA segment, then 1 Math segment, alternating this way until there is no time left in the day. *Make note for your substitute to stop instruction for specials like gym, art, music etc, lunch, and recess.

Option C: Following your daily bell schedule have your substitute teach selected segments of the ELA half day plan (or purchase 1-hour versions) or math half days during your designated ELA and math blocks and provide them with another activity/lesson of your own to meet any other subject areas like S.S., Health, Science, etc. *Make note for your substitute to stop instruction for specials like gym, art, music etc, lunch, and recess.

Do you still add lessons and resources to the site?

Yes! We add new lessons and resources as they are written! Our ultimate goal is to have a resource to address every CCSS.
