Description: Having a positive mindset is so important for your students' success throughout the school year and as they move forward in life. In this activity, K-5 students examine what it is to have a positive mindset through a video clip and song and utilizing the corresponding positive mindset statement matching worksheet. Students will also set goals and make their goals memorable by utilizing social emotional learning and creativity in an interactive photo booth using the Trolls cutouts as props.

Description: This time capsule activity is an opportunity for all K-5 students to learn about themselves through goal-setting and thinking about the future, while fostering social-emotional skills, writing, and creativity. It can also be used as an opportunity in class for students to share about themselves with other students in the classroom.
