Lesson Plan Description
This 1 hour Kindergarten lesson is broken down into 3 games that can be played as a whole class or in small groups/pairs. It addresses addition within 10 (K.OA.1). In these games students will practice addition within 10 in a variety of ways like counting objects, physically hopping on a number line, and building towers with blocks.
Students will play games where they will add two numbers together by counting objects, hopping on a number line, building towers, and coloring boxes.
