Lesson Plan Description

This is a 1 hour, lightly scripted, Third Grade Social Studies lesson. This lesson would also be great for 2nd grade. It answers the Essential Question: What are the basis of a functioning society?

Students will:

  • Learn the impacts of earning, saving and spending
  • Participate in an activity where they learn how to allocate their earnings.

Addresses the Economics K-3  subject: Explain the role of money and the impacts of earning, saving and spending.
