Lesson Plan Description
Third Grade 1 hour math lesson addressing Measurement and Data: measuring inches, half inches, and quarter inches, collecting data, and creating line plots (3.MD.4). This lesson includes: creating line plots using data samples and analyzing data on a line plot. Students will make a line plot with a horizontal scale marked off in whole number, half, or quarter units.
