Lesson Plan Description
Fourth Grade 1 hour math lesson addressing Operations and Algebraic Thinking: multiplicative comparisons (4.OA.A2). This lesson includes a review of key terms, guided practice of concept, and an activity to reinforce the concept of solving word problems using multiplicative comparisons and tape diagrams and manipulatives. Students will show their understanding of the multiplicative comparison by creating word problems and using manipulatives to illustrate their solutions.
