• Collaborate with peers to practice the "language" of geometry by identifying attributes of two-dimensional shapes (e.g., triangles are closed and three-sided)
• Practice identifying defining attributes of three-dimensional solid shapes (e.g.; cubes are three-dimensional solids, with six faces, twelve edges, and eight vertices) in strategic partnerships
• Distinguish between defining and non-defining attributes (e.g.; color, orientation, overall size) of both two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes and create shapes with defining attributes to create composite shapes
