Lesson Plan Description

Perfect for multilingual students learning English, this bundle of lesson plans is broken down into 3 separate segments (30-60 minutes each) using an informational text, “Apples”. Your students will:

Segment 1: participate in an interactive shared read aloud of the informational text, “Apples”, use informational text features to understand the meaning of new words and define the role of an informational writer
Segment 2: Draw and label the parts of an apple.
Segment 3: Describe apples using various adjectives.

These lessons can be taught over the span of a half day or you can use the lessons independently, broken up over several days.
