Lesson Plan Description
Third Grade 1 hour math lesson addressing Measurement and Data: measuring inches, half inches, and quarter inches, collecting data, and creating line plots (3.MD.4). This lesson includes: key vocabulary, helpful student notes for reference, guided and independent practice identifying measurements in inches, half inches, and quarter inches. Students will create rulers to use that identify measurement lengths in whole, half, and quarter inches.
