Lesson Plan Description

In this 1 Hour Kindergarten Physical Science Lesson, students will learn about what happens when a force is enacted onto matter.

  • Students will:
    • Conduct an experiment using toy cars to see what happens when they push and pull on the cars.
    • Learn academic vocabulary and be instructed to create definitions with their own words.
    • Address the overarching essential question “ How does energy move through and effect matter?”

*This lesson includes optional cross curricular extension activities relating to ELA and math.
