Lesson Plan Description
This Kindergarten Grade math game addresses Comparing Numbers and Equal Groups. (K.CC.6). Students will use their knowledge of matching. Students will play Match Me! where partners work together to replicate patterns of less than 10 manipulatives. Partner two closes their eyes, while partner one creates a distinct pattern with varying shapes of pattern blocks. Once the pattern is created, partner two opens their eyes and recreates the exact same pattern as shown by partner one.
Students will compare numbers by making equal groups playing the game Match Me!
