1st Grade Lesson Plans that are Substitute-Friendly
As educators ourselves, we know the familiar juggle: Drag ourselves into the classroom despite being plagued with numerous aches and pains, or labor to craft a lesson plan for the substitute that manages to provide a educationally stimulating lesson plans to the students and is straightforward enough for a sub to understand. Many times, the trouble of creating plans for someone else to follow leaves us at work when we should be elsewhere. Yet how can we avoid such a situation? We have a solution. Comprised of experienced classroom teachers, those of us at Daybreak Lesson Plans have devised several of ready-to-use 1st-grade curriculum and lesson plans for those days when you really need to call out. Each lesson is designed to align with state standards and any curriculum you already follow.
HOW TO USE
- To find lesson plans for 1st grade, simply click on the desired grade level, subject area, and type of lesson desired.
- Possible grades: Kindergarten through 5th
- 1st-grade subject areas: English/language arts and math, with student protocols that address speaking and listening standards
