1st Grade Lesson Plans that are Substitute-Friendly

As educators ourselves, we know the familiar juggle: Drag ourselves into the classroom despite being plagued with numerous aches and pains, or labor to craft a lesson plan for the substitute that manages to provide a educationally stimulating lesson plans to the students and is straightforward enough for a sub to understand. Many times, the trouble of creating plans for someone else to follow leaves us at work when we should be elsewhere.

Yet how can we avoid such a situation? We have a solution.

Comprised of experienced classroom teachers, those of us at Daybreak Lesson Plans have devised several of ready-to-use 1st-grade curriculum and lesson plans for those days when you really need to call out. Each lesson is designed to align with state standards and any curriculum you already follow.
