Lesson Plan Description
This is a 1 hour ELA lesson plan addressing several ELA standards using images of Pollination (included). This lesson includes: close reading comprehension techniques(RI.2.1, R.I.2.7, SL.2.1, SL.2.2), Observations and Drawing Inferences from a Photograph. Your students will use close reading comprehension techniques.
Students will ask and answer questions based on information in pictures.
Students will engage in collaborative conversations by posing or responding to specific questions.
It addresses Second Grade Life Science NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards). LS2.A: Interdependent Relationships in Ecosystems: Plants depend on animals for pollination or to move their seeds around. (2-LS2-2)
