This K-3, lightly scripted Geography lesson helps students learn about features on a map. It answers the essential question: “What geographical features shape our Earth?”
Students will :
- Learn about map features: compass rose, symbols, map key and how they are used to locate or give direction.
- Read a map.
* The lesson can be adapted to fit K-3 with suggestions embedded into the lesson.
