As math skills get progressively more challenging, our 3rd graders need a lot of practice with number sense and place value.  In this 1 hour lesson they will:

  • Collaborate with peers, practice the “language” of math and take “math” notes
  • Guided and independent practice of addition and subtraction using counting up and open number lines
