Description: Finding the key details in order to determine the main idea is one of the most difficult reading skills to teach (and learn).  In this 1 hour interactive fully scripted close read of the fable "The Crow and the Pitcher", your  students will:

  • Ask and answer text dependent questions in order synthesize, summarize and infer the purpose of this fable
