Lesson Plan Description
This is a lightly scripted, 1 hour Geography lesson geared towards 4th and 5th graders. It will teach your students about five different types of landforms and how they are created (mountains, mesas, plateaus, islands, deltas). It answers the essential question: “What geographical features shape our Earth?”
- Students will create a large landscape by designing posters of the different landforms in this lesson. The posters will also include factual information gathered through student research.
