Lesson Plan Description

This is a 1 hour, lightly scripted, Second Grade Social Studies lesson. This lesson would also be appropriate for Third Grade students.  It answers the Essential Question: What are the basis of a functioning society?

Students will:

  • Learn the roles and impacts producers and consumer have in our economy.
  • Participate in a series of activities to distinguish the difference between a producer and a consumer.

Addresses the Economics K-2  subject: Explain the roles and impact producers and consumers have on the economy.
