Type: Mini Lessons with Activity

Materials Needed:

• Yertle the Turtle: egg cartons, markers, die.
• Cat in the Hat: red drinking cups, white construction paper or cardstock cut into squares larger than the circumference of the cup.
• The Lorax: cubes, blocks, unifix cubes, popsicle sticks, etc, square cardboard pieces, large poms.
• Ten Apples up on Top: apples cut up in small pieces, toothpicks.
• Bartholomew and the Oobleck: 2 Cups of cornstarch, 3 drops of green food coloring, 1 cup of water. Objects to put in oobleck, legos.
