Lesson Plan Description
This is a 1 hour ELA lesson plan addressing several ELA standards using the myth, The Brog and the Rainbow. This lesson includes: close reading comprehension techniques and creation of a graphic novel. Your students will engage in repeated readings of a text, partner discussions, and individual analysis. Students will analyze a character and their qualities and defend these qualities using text supports. Identify and defend the lesson or moral of the myth using text supports and identify words or phrases that help with visualizing the myth.
