This 1 hour lesson plan addresses several ELA standards using the myth, Narcissus. Your students will use close reading comprehension techniques. Your students will participate in repeated readings of the same text, each time with a different focus in mind. They will work both independently and with a partner to analyze and better understand the text. Students will synthesize a myth to discover key details, analyze character and find a central message.
