Lesson Plan Description
This 1 hour lesson plan addresses several ELA standards using the myth, Narcissus. Your students will use close reading comprehension techniques. Your students will participate in repeated readings of the same text, each time with a different focus in mind. They will work both independently and with a partner to analyze and better understand the text. Students will determine the main events of a myth using sequential words as a guide. In addition, students will create a graphic novel to show their understanding of main events and sequential order.
