Engage your students in a complex text series of lessons using a narrative text “The Day I Faced My Biggest Fear”. Your students will:

Move from the literal interpretation of literary text to evaluation and synthesis through strategic partner talk
Determine the main events and sequential order of a narrative in order to determine the message/moral
Create a foldable to show their understanding of plot, figurative language, and moral.
