Lesson Plan Description
Having a positive mindset is so important for your students’ success throughout the school year and as they move forward in life. In this activity, K-5 students examine what it is to have a positive mindset through a video clip and song and utilizing the corresponding positive mindset statement matching worksheet. Students will also set goals and make their goals memorable by utilizing social emotional learning and creativity in an interactive photo booth using the Trolls cutouts as props.
Use this activity in class as a great hump-day activity to break up the school week and to get your students thinking positively about the year ahead and going into the future.
