Lesson Plan Description
This is a 1 hour ELA lesson plan addressing several ELA standards using the picture book Recess Queen, by Alexis O’Neill Your students will enjoy a read aloud, and practicing letter sound correspondence: Rr. Students will identify the sound of the letter Rr and find objects that represent the letter around the classroom and then record their findings on a t-chart.
