Materials Needed:

• Blank paper and construction paper or plain 8 1/2” x 11” paper
• Pencils and crayons/colored pencils
• Counters or little blocks
• Glue sticks or glue, scissors
• Timer
• Document camera or whiteboard

Optional:

• individual whiteboards and dry erase markers

Printable Resources: Required:

• “Addition Word Problems” (1 copy per student and 1 for display)
• “Ice Cream Bowl Craft” (3 pages per student and 1 copy for demonstration) (Make a few extra copies of page 2 (ice cream scoops) in case students need more scoops)

Optional:

• “Exit Slips” (1 copy per student);
