Lesson Plan Description

Introducing new concepts in different ways helps “seal” our understandings.  Use this  1 hour telling time lesson as another way to help your 2nd graders begin to grasp this challenging concept.  In this lesson your students will:

  • Participate in an introductory lesson for telling time to the nearest 5 minutes
  • Collaborate with peers to practice telling and making time on clocks including “am” and “pm”
  • Create a clock “project”
