Lesson Plan Description

Engaging students in reading and developing reading for meaning skills, this is a 1 hour fable lesson is based on “The Brog and the Rainbow”.  Strategic collaborative partner work will result in your students being able to:

  • Analyze a character and their qualities and defend these qualities using text supports.
  • Identify and defend the lesson or moral of the myth using text supports
  • Identify precise words or phrases that help with visualizing the myth.
