Check your students understanding of place value with the fun and interactive game. They won’t even know you are gathering important formative information to drive your teaching of place value. Your 4th graders will:

Collaborate with peers to practice the “language” of place value and attend to precision
Construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others
Demonstrate their understanding of place value by playing the game “Spin & Round”
- spin a wheel to create and compare a 6-digit number in order to determine each number’s place value
