Description: Engaging students in the standards of math practice that support them in discussing and applying math concepts is a foundational goal for 1st graders.  This bundle of 2 fully scripted lessons (30-60 minutes each) will help your students build their skills to solve word problems by working in strategic and purposeful partnerships.  They will:

• Practice the "language of math with partners, follow step by step directions for problem solving, identify important parts of a word problem, and solve using drawings and number lines
