Description: Do your 4th graders need more practice multiplying fractions and explaining their reasoning?  In this lightly scripted, interactive 1 hour lesson they will: This 60-minute, fourth grade lesson plan teaches the concept of multiplying fractions by whole numbers. Students are asked to represent their solutions using fraction models. This lesson explicitly teaches standard concepts through whole class activities, creative partner practice games using dice/playing cards, and independent assessments.
